The Fastiv Grain Reception Facility (HPP) was founded in 1976 and has since become a crucial part of the region’s infrastructure for grain storage and processing. The facility’s first grain elevator had a capacity of 21,600 tons, providing ample storage for key agricultural crops. From 1976 to 2013, Fastiv HPP handled a variety of grains and oilseeds, including wheat, barley, rye, oats, buckwheat, peas, millet, corn, sunflower, and rapeseed.
In 2013, the facility underwent a significant modernization, which substantially increased its capabilities. Five new silos with a total capacity of 50,000 tons were built, expanding the facility’s grain storage capacity. Additionally, modern equipment was installed, including a “Dakota” grain cleaning machine and a “Sukup” grain dryer with the ability to process up to 180 tons of grain per hour. These upgrades improved the efficiency and speed of grain processing at every stage.
The next phase of modernization occurred in 2019, with the construction of five more silos, adding another 35,000 tons of capacity. A new “Dakota” grain cleaning machine and an advanced “Sukup” grain dryer capable of drying up to 120 tons of grain per hour were also installed. This further strengthened the facility’s market position and provided reliable storage and processing for large volumes of grain.
In 2021, Fastiv HPP underwent another reconstruction, during which older grain cleaning machines were replaced with more modern “Olis” models, improving the quality and efficiency of grain processing. These technological upgrades meet current agricultural industry standards and requirements.
In 2024, another reconstruction is planned for the Fastiv HPP, which will include replacing unloading augers, scraper conveyors, and operational parts to further enhance the facility’s overall productivity. Currently, the facility can process up to 2,300 tons of wheat, 4,000 tons of corn, and 1,300 tons of sunflower per day. With a total grain storage capacity of 105,000 tons, Fastiv HPP is one of the leading elevator complexes in Ukraine.
